Upon delivery of our brand new P3 LED screen SLLFX got stuck straight in and showcased the product at a huge two-day International Conference down in London at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington.
The Orchard Suite provided a significant conference space making it the perfect choice for the hundreds of delegates that attended. With keynote speakers such as Ben Ryan (ex-professional rugby player) taking the guests through his journey and progression of his career, our P3 LED screen was used to its full potential to display relatable video, images and text as he spoke.
Using 80 of the 1000×500 panels to create one continual 12m x 4m screen as a focal point for the delegates, the team chose to ground stack the screen on the stage, also supporting it on four 4m truss pillars using 150kg ballasts to provide some stabilising weight.
All of the content for the conference ran in 3k via an Apple Mac Pro tower desktop using Resolume software. This allowed the operator to create PiPs (picture-in-picture) to layer on the screen during the show. This service was operated and supplied by an in-house technician at the request of the customer.
